Error in Teaching
I made an error in teaching this morning. I wrote a sentence on the blackboard and asked the students it to copy it. It goes like this: 'I can go to the supermarket at anytime at my convenience."
I did not sense anything wrong until I reached the staffroom. When I recalled what I had written, I realised that the sentence was very iffy. The correct sentence should be 'I can go to the supermarket anytime at my convenience.'
Should I tell my students about the error? I would surely be booed if I tell them about it.
