Desperate to Break the Monotony of Teaching the Lower Form
I am fed up with teaching the lower form. The thought of having to deal with PPPM every year gives me a creep. It is nothing but a drudgery, a bore. I wonder if I can stick it out.
Once again this year, the school authority flat out rejected my appeal to teach at least a class of the Upper form. Is my English poorer than the other colleagues? I don't think so. I am the only one at school who is exempted from attending the Pro-Elt courses. I hate having to deal with PPPM all the time. I need a break. I am literally going through the motions now. I have been teaching the lower form since 1997. Taking a class of the Upper Form can at least offset the monotony a little. But when will my appeal be accepted?
